Elaborated Joy

Everybody knows Pinball as a family friendly game. Long rainy nights become shorter with this game. Most families have this tabletop pinball machine manufactured at a factory. But my husband made a tabletop pinball machine by his own. Our elder son helped him making the device. It was fun to observe their practice. There were some difficulties. And it was exciting. They found pieces of scrap wood and other small things that we had lying around our house. They created a fun game for themselves and our family to enjoy together. Certainly my husband has some basic wood working skills in order to construct this. Even in this case he met some difficulties. Steve made a simple pinball machine without spending a lot of money. There is a dark room where we can find a lot of nugatory items in our house. Just for this quick and easy project my boys found small nails, marbles, a large nail, rubber bands, a plastic bottle and some bottle tops, bottle caps. of various colors, craft sticks there. They purchased a wooden board (23 x 36), foam core and tacky glue. Some items as two wooden cubes (2cm) and a doll pin were discovered among old toys of our kids. Steve and Tom stretched rubber bands around the nails tapped into the perimeter of the board to form the sides of the pinball machine. Both wooden cubes were hammered by a nail. More one cm of the nail was left exposed. Tom glued the blocks to the bottom right side of the board and used a small piece of foam to board to the tops of the blocks. He didn't avoid any difficulties and was always close to his father. Evidently he got real joy of this work. A shooter was made from two crafts sticks wedged into the doll pin slot, like the wings of an airplane. The shooter was tacked on between the two wooden blocks with a rubber band. The same rubber band looped it around the nails and around the cross section of the shooter.
